Spectator Information

Event Site

There will be plenty to see and do in the Event Site which will be located on the centre of the Athletics Track. At the Start/Finish there is a covered Stand with seats for to sit and watch your family and friends finishing the Marathon.

Food & Drink

We will have a BBQ stand being operated throughout the day which will be chardged. Ice-Cream van will be available and we are hoping to have a Bar available too.

Yeovilton Military Wives Choir

Once again the fabulous ladies will be singing for those that are around the Event Site, the times of performances will be 12:30 and 14:30. This year we will have them facing the Viewing Stand and Finish Line.

Atlantic Radio

Larry Dart from Atlantic Radio will be onsite to provide you with music as your browsing our Stalls and having fun.

Conduct of Spectators on the Course

We would respectively like to ask all spectators if you are travelling around the route to see your family not to drive/cycle along side them on the route as this is dangerous to other road users and our Athletes. Where applicable use other roads to go around the Course. The best areas to view the Athletes in safety and without congesting the roads are at the Event Village for the Start/Finish, Stockwitch Cross crossroads which is the start of the second lap, Mudford Village. There are ample other viewing points around the route but they don't have much space for parking without blocking the road.

Children's Entertainment

We have a free Children's Fun Run taking place on the Athletics Track. Registration for this will start at 09:15 after the Marathon has started with the Fun Run starting at 10:30. We are planning on having Face Painting on site and a free bouncy castle will be available too.
